About the Chef

Hello my name is Ryan Hentschel I have been fourtunate to have been able to share my food with others for 26 years. I have spent more than half my life in professional kitchens, I've honed my skills and passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. In 2007 i decided to go to culinary school to take my career to the next level and gain more knowledge about food and how restaurants work. I graduated from the California Culinary Academy in 2008 and was immediately hired at the Ritz Carlton San Francisco. Since then I've worked in amazing kitchens with incredible chefs and Michelin starred mentors learning so much and developing my palate. My journey then brought me to the Hawaiian islands where i was embraced with open arms. I cooked for everyone from local Hawaiians who have lived there entire life on the islands to movie stars, bands and professional sports teams. Cooking and food brings people together and the land and sea are cherished and respected. I have also worked for tech companies such and LinkedIn and Google with Bon Appetite, furthering my knowledge of healthy fresh food made to fuel you and keep you healthy. With this next chapter i would love to share my love and passion for food with you.
